Green Lizard took a major step forward in its vision for a green fuels and chemicals park in Teesside recently, when it proved the viability of its pioneering sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
Green Lizard Technologies became one of the very first organisations in the UK to physically test a sample of its fuel, using its innovative Advanced Fischer Tropsch (AFT) technology.
The rigorous testing, at the University of Sheffield’s Energy Innovation Centre, showed a significant drop in emissions, an improvement in fuel efficiency, and even sub-zero temperature resilience.
This success shows Green Lizard is creating the conditions for a commercial solution to one of the UK’s priority issues: a viable way to decarbonise the aviation industry and unlock progress to Net Zero.
